Booked Lead in Dark Fear!

After three auditions for the thriller, Dark Fear, Heather booked one of the leads. Directed by Marty Rosenberg, whose credits include Terminator Salvation, Saving Private Ryan, and Star Wars- Episode 1, the film is in the vein of Blair Witch and Paranormal Activity that follow three characters that venture into an abandoned and haunted reformatory. Out of 3000 submissions, Heather was cast to go to Ione, CA in April and film! More updates on the film to come!

Heather starred as the lead in this comedy feature and it will be screening at The New Filmmakers LA film festival on the 18th this month. The film screens at 8:45 at Sunset Gower Studios. Even though Heather was a waitress for no more than two months (and that was five years ago) she was cast as a waitress in an industrial for the company LRN, based in Los Angeles. She played the annoying waitress trying to collect more tips from her tables. It was a short and sweet shoot! Hope to have a clip up soon!

Heather stayed in town a little longer to shoot the lead role in the trailer for the intended feature film, Dreamspace. The director, as well as the author of the book , Bennett Davlin wrote the action movie "Medallion" starring Jackie Chan. He is an internationally published novelist and adapted, wrote, produced, and directed the adaptation of my first novel "Memory" starring two time Academy Award nominees Dennis Hopper and Ann-Margret, Billy Zane, and "Battlestar Galactica's" Tricia Helfer.

Heather auditioned for her a guest star on one of her favorite TV shows, Cold Case and was called back to the producers, writer, and director of the episode set in 1971. Heather prepared with her coach and worked extremely hard to portray the character, which called for a gymnastics background! Hopefully she hears back!

Filming Arithanea in Monterey!

Heather filmed for two days on the northern coast of California on a short called Arithanea. The film is about a guy who miraculously gets sucked into a video game and is coerced into find the magical sword of heroes to save the land of Arithanea. Heather played Adelaide, and guides him down the path to saving the land. She even got a staff that she used to cast spells. See more photos on the gallery page!

Written by David Garrett and Michael Bachmann, The Cellar is about a group of young hot employees and old desperate-for-a-job employees who all work at an Abercrombie and Fitch type retail store. With singing and dancing old people, and a 13 year old store manager, this comedy is destined for laughs. Heather played one of the employees, bored with her job and hardly works hard. Heather is gearing up for STATE- the first film about women's softball. The film STATE is inspired from the lives of two very dynamic and successful fast-pitch softball coaches, Jimmy Iturralde and Ed Aycock. Out of thousands of girls who auditioned, Scott Thomas found his cast. Heather will be playing the spoiled and snobby second baseman, Emily. In the commercial, Heather planted a tree and cleaned up a park, then after all the hard work enjoyed some Yoplait yogurt with a group of friends. Heather shot the trailer for The Fairfax file, the 1950s film noir murder mystery. The large cast filmed it all in one day on a green screen. Heather played a conservative librarian that has an alternative life style at night. It was produced by Geraldine Kren, who performed the female vocals in the album, The Dark Side of the Moon, and it was directed by Tom Makowski.

Landed a supporting role in the Hallmark TV movie, Wishing Well, starring Jason London and oscar winner, Ernest Borgnine. Heather portrayed a nosy assistant who works for a Celebrity magazine and had a scene with Charles Shaughnessy (The Nanny) and Jordan Ladd (Deathproof). The film will air on the Hallmark channel summer of 2009!

Heather worked with directors, Brian Watkins and Dane Anderson on their hilarious comedy about the film industry, Drama Kings. In this farcical look at Hollywood, four wannabe actors vie for the role of Halitosis in the epic gladiator movie, "The Forgotten Trojans." Heather filmed a bit part in Hotel for Dogs, starring Julia Roberts niece, Emma Roberts. She played an employee at the ritzy dog hotel and got to massage a dog that was being pampered in the dog spa. The movie is out in blockbuster now so check it out.

Dreamlady was directed by Tim Keller and produced by Jimmy Drain of Ghostblade Productions, both Colorado natives. Dreamlady is short film about Mallick, the nicest guy in town, so nice he doesn't have the right edge with the ladies. His pal Hicks tries to help, but only squashes any hopes he has with the girls, until Mallick meets 'The Bartender'. After some words of wisdom, and a little tip from this mysterious bartender, Mallick is ready to conquer his fears. Or are his problems just beginning? Heather played Sara, the bartender. Absence of Logic, a short about the downward spiral of a musician, was shot this spring. Heather spent three days playing one of the supporting characters. The film was directed by Ryan Nichols, graduate of Brooks Film School. The film is due out spring of 2009!
